These kids are not hoodlums - they basically relatively normal (to me all kids that grew up in Miami are hoodlums) - but if you're 13-26 - everyone is nigga - the white kids call the black kids nigga - when I get to the court - I always say, "what's up niggas?" - they laugh because they know I'm making fun of them

Pretty much everyone I know, black or white, uses the term nigga. It's not used as a derogatory word to insult black people, it's just how people talk now. The word really isn't considered a big deal to most people unless it's used by a white guy in a way where you know he's insulted the black guy. Then he just gets his ass kicked, even by the white dudes.

Maybe its where I live but where im at white people dont say nigga around black people unless they are real cool with each other. I do agree that it is just a term use by my generation and is not insulting. But Personally I dont think i would let a white person say nigga to me. Dont ask me why I just wouldnt.
